Exporting & Importing wordpress posts and all pages is very easy, in this article I’ll show you step by step how to do this with screenshots, and you can also watch video tutorial for this.

 

Step 1: Login to your wordpress dashboad

Step 2 : Go to the dashboard left Panel and Hover on the tools option and then click on export  as you can see in the below image.w3contentsexport

 

Step 3:  Now you will see Option to choose what you want to export such as : posts, pages, forms, ads etc. choose whatever you want to export and click on the Export button as you can see in the below image

After “Download Export File” you will have xml file in your local system, save that file so you can import that file again. This is the way you can take backup of your all wordpress post.

Now I’m gonna explain how to import posts in wordpress

Step 1 : Go to the dashboard left Panel and Hover on the tools option and then click on import:

Step 2 : You will see option to Install under the WordPress Label, see the image below:

Run Importer

 

Step 3: Finally you can upload the xml file of your posts as shown in image below.
